HOP THE HECK IPA
Our flagship IPA. More balanced than most West Coast IPAs emphasizing both hops and malt. Somewhere between a West Coast IPA and an English IPA.
THE BILL: North American 2 Row, Munich, & Crystal malts with a whole lotta Chinook, Amarillo and Cascade hops.
BLACK MAYLE STOUT
Creamy sweet stout with coffee, chocolate and treacle notes. Full mouthfeel with some residual bitterness on the finish.
THE BILL: Maris Otter, Chocolate, and Roasted Barley malts, with East Kent Golding hops.
Queen Anne Hazy IPA
Flaked oats lend a full, smooth mouthfeel, accompanied by a healthy dose of Mosaic, El Dorado and Cascade hops for a huge citrus finish. Orange grapefruit creamsicle in a glass.
THE BILL: 2-Row, Flaked Oats, Flaked Wheat, and White Wheat malt with Mosaic, El Dorado and Cascade Hops.
HOP BURST IPA
Our stab at a true West Coast IPA but with a slight British twist. Light in color and mouthfeel, a little maltiness but with an emphasis on smooth hop bitterness and aroma.
THE BILL: North American 2 Row, Munich, Crystal, and White Wheat malts with Chinook, Amarillo, Cascade, Simcoe & Eukanot hops.
ENGLISH ROSE PALE ALE
The lightest of our British ales. Emphasizes maltiness with slight floral hop aroma and bitterness. Medium mouthfeel with creamy head.
THE BILL: Maris Otter, Munich, Crystal 45 & Chocolate Malts with Challenger & East Kent Golding hops.
BEAR CREEK BROWN ALE
Dark American Brown Ale. Medium mouthfeel with notes of chocolate, coffee and dirt. Slight spicy finish.
THE BILL: North American 2 Row, Crystal 40 & Chocolate malts with Chinook & Cascade hops.
MIDSIDE MAGGIE MILD ALE
Our take on a traditional English mild. Reminds us of home.
THE BILL: Maris Otter, Caramunich, Crystal 45 & Chocolate malts with Fuggle & East Kent Golding hops.
LOST WORLD PALE ALE
A light refreshing pale ale, but still retaining some malt complexity. Balanced by the delicate citrus hop aroma.
THE BILL: North American 2 Row & Crystal 45 Malts with Chinook, Amarillo and Cascade Hops.
CONSKI CREAM ALE
Light & smooth cream ale with a fresh toasted bread malt character, and just enough hops to give a balanced and crisp finish. Named after Donald & Sue's grandson Connor, also known as "The Conski".
THE BILL: Maris Otter malt with East Kent Golding hops. Nothin' else.
SASSENACH ENGLISH IPA
An English IPA but with a more bitter finish than usual. A Sassenach is a mostly derogatory term for an English person to someone from the Scottish lowlands. However, it also can refer to a lowlander to someone from the Scottish highlands. As this is our English IPA, it seems an appropriate term.
THE BILL: Maris Otter, C45, C120, and Wheat malts with Challenger, Fuggle and East Kent Golding Hops.
NUMPTY WEE HEAVY
Strong but sweet Scotch Ale emphasizing caramel and malt flavors. Almost like drinking a Tunnock's caramel wafer. The recipe calls for 100 pounds of grain per barrel in order to get both high alcohol and sweetness.

REIVER RED SMOKED ALE
A red ale with firm bitterness balanced by moderate residual sweetness. We use peat smoked malts in the brewing process to impart a subtle yet complex smoky finish.
GINGER SNAP CREAM ALE
Our Conski Cream Ale, double infused with fresh ginger during the secondary fermentation and maturation process.
THE BILL: Maris Otter malt with East Kent Golding hops, and fresh ginger.
