Harry Burks with special guest Mojoe
Harry got his start in the folk rock scene, performing solo acoustic shows since his years in Nashville. He plays a broad set of acoustic tunes, from standards and folk rock to modern country, and tunes his performance to the client and audience, often taking requests. He currently plays in Solo/Duo/Trio formats at many wineries, as well as Santana Row, along with numerous casuals and private events in the South Bay. Harry is the also lead singer for the award-winning Bay Area band, The Megatones.
Joining Harry will be KPIG DJ Mojoe (Joe Bac) who is also the guitar player in the Shady Rest Band. Harry and Joe formed the Megatones in the late 80’s and since have performed various acoustic guitar shows over the years. You can expect great vocals and guitar playing to many recognizable hits from these two fine musicians.

Tom Conneely & Birds of Paradise are a San Francisco based band that released their first record “Cappuccino Springs” in the fall of 2022. The band followed up with the home-recorded “Sun Child” less than a year later, and has toured throughout the west coast, from Los Angeles to Portland to Boise and many places in between, including a recent performance at Offbeat Festival in Reno. The Birds are led in collaboration between guitarist and vocalist Tom Conneely and bassist Alois Cerbu, home-recording and engineering both “Sun Child” and their forthcoming record “New Kind Palace.”
“New Kind Palace” is Tom Conneely & Birds of Paradise’s second full length album, though in many ways, it might as well be the first. The release of the “Sun Child” EP in September 2023 marked a radical shift in both substance and form, as the desire for perfection and clarity was abandoned for muddled drum machines and lyrics that dealt with the painfully obvious facets of life. “New Kind Palace” builds on the foundations of “Sun Child” - drawing on its hissy intimacy while exceeding its through line, balancing tactile analog qualities with inventive electronic elements all while retaining an impressionistic lyrical focus against the trance-like qualities reminiscent of Arthur Russell and the lo-fi melodic guitars of The Cleaners of Venus.
After a false starts in ill-fitting studios, the ten songs of “New Kind Palace” were recorded in a variety of bedrooms and makeshift spaces that belay the music’s homespun qualities and intimacy. The recording and production process was entirely one of self-discovery, as handing off the various parts of the production process, from tracking to mixing and mastering, became untenable with retaining the honesty the work required. Mostly tracked to quarter inch tape, the music that constitutes “New Kind Palace” is a testament to self-discovery and trust in one’s self, while uncovering and facing head-on the simultaneous hysteria and transcendence of our inner worlds.
"New Kind Palace" by Tom Conneely & Birds of Paradise will be released by Kestrel Records on March 21, 2025.
5:30-7:30pm —> Mike Hellman is a country and americana troubadour with a bent for the unconventional. Slinging songs with substance, conviction and grit, he’s on a mission to tell his truth and he insists on being heard. While firmly rooted in the rich country and blues traditions of his home state of Texas, he refuses to pander to cliché and his sound is anything but predictable. His enthralling live sets swing from ballad to barn burner to outright rock ‘n’ roll, and his rich baritone conjures earnestness and humor while dealing head-on with all aspects of the human condition (and with a not-so-subtle nod to the underdog). An “outlaw” for outlaws, Mike's music transcends the often narrow boundaries set by the mainstream country music establishment.
Gary Blackburn, Santa Cruz, California local, and Central Coast veteran singer songwriter, brings together his smooth vocals, and stylized guitar picking to his original compositions in the Country, Rock, Folk, Blues genres. Blending old school with contemporary, Gary will weave a memorable musical performance of songs that tell stories of love, forgiveness, and the paths that we choose. Gary performs some of his original tunes that include songs off his CD,” Streak of Gray”, and “Daddy’s Boy”. His original songs have been aired on Santa Cruz County radio stations, KPIG 107.5 FM, KSQD 90.7 FM, and KBCZ 89.3 FM, and select radio stations in the Northwest, all the way to Maine. With a well-rounded repertoire, Gary will show both his versatile soft folk blues side along with his high energy rock side, mixing in some great familiar cover tunes to his original songs. Gary has been performing up and down the Central Coast, and the Bay Area at many various music venues for many years now, and Gary is ready to perform for y’all in what he likes to call, “Americana with Attitude”. 5-7pm in the taproom.
Dave D'oh has been rocking the Central Coast and Bay Area for the past decade, weaving together guitar, saxophone and vocals for an unique twist on your favorite songs.
